Please note the following with regards to safe and healthy operation of your newly installed roller shutter/s.

1.   Never attempt to repair a fault on the roller shutter yourself, this could be both dangerous and can invalidate any warranty which you may have.

2.   Roller shutters should have an annual service to test for safe operation.

3.   Never use any form of grease to lubricate any part of the working parts of the roller shutter.

4.   Clean with soap and water only, other products may cause discolouration and may interfere with the operation of the roller shutter.

5.   Always treat the roller shutter with respect and use correctly; misuse or heavy handling may result in the roller shutter curtain to fall out of the guides.

6.   If roller shutter is dropped on a foreign object, do not attempt to correct/repair as this can cause further damage.

7.   If roller shutter does not appear to operate, first check that there is power to the roller shutter and the battery for the remote control fobs does not need replacement.

8.   Security shutters are installed for the purpose of protecting the building from intrusion, not for use as sun blinds. In the past motors have not been covered under warranty due to this form of usage.

9.   STAFF USAGE Please ensure all members are aware of the points aforementioned, as F1SS will not be held responsible for non-adherence.

N.B Faults occurring due to attempted break in, fire, general misuse are not covered under the standard warranty.
